My Job Requires Travel and I Hate It

So for the past 3+ years I have been traveling as an engineer for work with about 30%-50% travel. Each travel session can be up to 3 months with weekend travel back home, sometimes. Consequently I haven't been home alot and I feel like my world at home passes me by when I travel. My longterm plan is to start a business but I am nowhere near ready for that yet so I am treading between finding an interim job, asking if I can do something else within my company, or suck it up and keep traveling until I figure it out. The job market is quite nice right now so I dont think I need to suck it up, but I also want to remain humble.
