My job went from I love it, to I want to quit tonight real quick.

A while ago, I went from a job making $13.50/hour to $21/hour. First starting, I'm ecstatic. Ready to prove my worth as an employee. Push good work. Maintain a positive attitude. All of it. Well, over the past couple weeks I accepted a position within to become a cherry picker. I began my training and first week my first couple days are great. Well, over the past couple weeks I accepted a position within to become a cherry picker. I began my training and first week my first couple days are great. I get the hang of things and show I can kill it on cherru picker as well.

Fast forward a couple weeks later, I am bouncing between multiple pieces of equipment. Expected to pull for this job title, this title and that title. I am running myself ragged with stress. I'm operating more equipment than every other employee every night. I'm pulling my numbers, and still this switch up and constant pulling for 2 jobs is killing me.

I mention something again tonight how I wanted the work for cherry picker only and not have to pull 2 peoples worth of work. Instead, I'm put on reach truck/sit down work only instead of my new position.

At this point I feel like they trained me on cherry picker just so they could have me doing both. Which I'm not ok with. The hunt for new lift driver work begins. I'm no guinea pig to be overworked doing the job of 2 – 3 people.
