My manager has a problem with me sending emails from iOS

I have a 1hr+ train commute. So I usually leave a little early to/from work and answer emails on the train. My manager doesn’t like that when I send emails from my work phone, it says “Sent from Outlook for iOS” at the end, because it indicates that I’m not in office during office hours… in a hybrid work arrangement. Part of me wants to just remove that msg from my signature to shut them up. The other part of me wants to start sending all of my emails from iOS even when I’m in office or have access to my work laptop, just to spite them. What should I do?
