Rant,
So, my manager gets paid triple what I make and still does almost nothinf compared to the workload I do. We do the same thing, exactly the same thing, the only difference is that his signature reads “manager” and mine doesn't.
I told him starting this year that I will be going out from the company because I want to move to another City with my feyoncee and will most likely look for another job that lets me work remotely. He said that he will miss me, I replied “me too man” and he inmediately added “I mean, without you I will actually have to work lol” and I just didn't say anything.
Ever since we had that convo, he has been shifting almost all the workload to me, the only things he does that are work related are zoom meetings with customers or the owners, all the other actual work he tell me to do it.
And I'm honestly so done with this, as soon as I find anything else I will quit on the spot. The funny thing is that I've asked for a raise in the past and they have denied it everytime, while he has gotten a raise every year since I've been here. Don't want to think that he has something to do with it, but I've had my doubts since last year.
I will miss the Office and my coworkers, but I will definitely not miss workinf for my manager.
