I don't know much about labor laws hence posting here and seeing if anyone can enlighten me.
My mom works picking strawberries and she'll come home and say she didn't get paid on the date she was scheduled to get paid. They are supposed to get paid every Friday. Sometimes they won't pay them till Saturday and will hold their check until the end of their work day. There has been times where they won't have them ready for them on Saturday and tell them to pick up their checks on Sunday when there isn't work and on their own time this seems unfair to me but is her company violating some labor law in not paying them on time? This happens all the time.
