I've been in my role for 6 months, and still getting up to speed on the way my company does stuff. In the past month, my boss has been a total dick bc all of sudden, he's getting pressure from corporate to get the finances in order since we're not making any money.
I've tried my best to get up to speed. The first 3 months were a breeze bc my boss didn't have any fires to manage. Now we do and he expects me to run with everything. He's found fault in all my work, gives vague guidance and isn't supportive.
Anyways, I wrote him probably the nicest email of my career to address the situation and find a path forward. He involved HR. They were kinda supportive, but I don't want to work this jerk anymore.
Can I negotiate a severance package?
