Video of Boss ramming through my vehicle and throwing it back.
I'll start with some background first about how this all started: Due to politics and bigoted Ideology of my Boss I was fired by him around a month back and had to cancel plans to treat my daughter (who's trans) and had to find a new job and other methods to help them. In fact the whole issue was he already knew beforehand about my daughter, but he was just waiting for an excuse to snap and did so, all because of his delusions that I would rather not go over, bottom-line he was just a bigot (and sadly some people here were too when that thread went up) who also made horrible racist outbursts, which I did record.
Against concerns, I decided to send part of what I had recorded anyway to HQ, which originally and after I sent the recordings, rejected my complain. But I guess eventually someone else got a hold of it because almost two weeks ago I was contacted after someone at headquarters looked into my complaint again, and they had given me a call to give their apologies and rehired me. Then they had placed my now ex-boss under suspension pending an investigation into my complaint. So going against what I originally expected, the man who put me through these problems that I thought was going to get away with it, didn't get away with it. I was completely shocked.
Unfortunately, as you can see in the video. My Boss who owns his own truck decided to pay a visit to the road I was parked in today. One of two roads which large trucks or rigs were NOT allowed to drive through because of how narrow the roads were, but my boss still decided to drive by and ram through the right side of my vehicle hard enough to throw it back. When this happened an employee reported it recognizing the driver but didn't have proof it was him for sure.
My boss of course, lied and rejected that it ever happened when the now-current manager called him, since there are similar trucks driving around he tried to pin it on a random stranger. But he screwed up pretty badly here. The first strike against him was that we had security cameras that were facing the road but they were turned off. We don't have dedicated security but management or supervisors can go and pull up the footage at will if needed. We found out that the cameras were not even on and running, with the last stored recording being within 24 hours of him being notified to leave on suspension pending the investigation. The only conclusion you can logically come to is it was on purpose.
The footage you see above is one of two videos we got today, and that was the first one we got from the auto-shop next door. As you can see in my video I'm not fully in their parking zone until my boss drags me into it after he rams by vehicle. We then got another video later showing a wider view of the street and the LICENSE plate of his and other vehicles showing (which is why I didn't post that one on reddit) from a tool supply store from a different angle. This not only confirmed it was his vehicle that was used to ram me, but also that he pulled a hit and run.
Before you think this was enough indisputable evidence for the police to take action, keep in mind I'm in a southern deeply ideological and discriminating state surrounded by rural towns. They took a look at the evidence, questioned who was around at the time and eventually said there wasn't enough proof to determine it was intentional or a crime, and claimed it was likely an accident. They refused to make the arrest. I did get put in contact with a lawyer that will make this a quick civil suit since there's a clear hit and run on video and enough other evidence to pin him otherwise, but it will be in a civil suit. It seems my Boss will get away with a crime without being charge for a crime because system is fucking broken I guess.
Right now the area I work in is somewhat deserted as companies and stores have been closing up for the day and people have been going home, this situation has ben going on for hours. The mechanic shop who gave me the first video, the one you see in the OP, had promised to help me out covering a couple new tires for my car so I can be back on the road after the damage caused by my boss. When I went there not long before posting this thread, they instead asked me to pay $130 for the tires and the labor to put them on. I haven't even been paid yet since I've been rehired and have nothing.
They are well aware of the situation, but won't help get me back on the road home without buying their services. I have no one to call either which causes more problems. Unfortunately, any other store is in another rural town which are spread far apart from each other which means walking is impossible.
So right now I'm still here just trying to see if there's someone who'll let me hitchhike, I know that's not the safest option (if it even works) but I guess that's all I can do right now. I did get an Email yesterday from another potential job I applied for long ago and I think once I find some way to get back home, I'll take the risk on that and quit this job. I just can't deal with this anymore. I need a job that will allow me to save and move the hell out of this hellhole. I'm in the middle of nowhere right now because of a crime my Boss committed that the police won't charge him for, and the auto-shop which gave me one of the videos proving the incident, wants me to pay full price to replace my tires for something THEY witnessed was wrong doing without any sympathy. It's like everyone out here is out to get you, none of these people have empathy or morals or anything.
