My office laid off a bunch of remote workers and I was medically approved to work from home

Still processing this happening, but I was laid off from my day job (tech job – ticketing service – based out of a few offices around the US) — very unexpectedly and after a series of weeks that drained every last bit of energy out of me. I was given no reason, just told that there were redundancies and that the company was consolidating the office to one city (even though I am based in that city…) Everyone that got laid off with me was a remote worker – most of them were based in another cities, but some of them were based in mine as well. The local layoffs were job titles being phased out and made redundant, but I found out that my position remains and that no one else with my job title from my office was laid off. The only difference is I was working remotely…

Everyone that got laid off with me was a remote worker – most of them were based in another cities, but some of them were based in mine as well. The local layoffs were job titles being phased out and made redundant, but I found out that my position remains and that no one else with my job title from my office was laid off. The only difference is I was working remotely — which I had medical approval for. Also, the remaining people with my job title actually got raises, which adds insult to injury.

Is this something worth fighting or should I just be focused on finding my next job? Absolutely deflated here and would love some perspective.
