I stayed with this company for just about a year. After the clientele being the worst I’d ever seen (and I worked fast food when I was 17 and a number of other service industry jobs), absolutely no backup from management, and getting paid less than people who started after I did, I had enough and quit. Around the time I quit, this guy was transferred to our location. I got weird vibes from him from the beginning but there wasn’t much I could do about that.
Come to find out that this particular man had sexually harassed and even sexually assaulted multiple women on staff (I know of at least three that have had this happen to them). When these women came forward to management, they said there wasn’t enough proof. Not only that, but they transferred him to a different location AND gave him a raise that’s more than I’ve seen them give anyone.
From what I’m aware of, the transfer is only temporary, meaning that these women will be forced to work with a sexual predator at least until they are able to leave. My heart breaks for them and my blood is boiling, hearing the stories of what he did to them and how the company thinks this is perfectly acceptable.
This place is without a doubt the worst place I have ever had the displeasure of working for, but I never imagined it would get this bad.
