I quit my job mid Dec. as I got a new job with double the pay, better hours, bettet health insurance, etc.
After I quit, I was included in a group text about someone asking for coverage. I mentioned that I no longer worked there and called out my old boss for being an all around asshat.
I had not yet received my W2 from my previous job yet as of yesterday. So I contact him to inquire what the issue was. And he tells me, that I cannot receive my W2 unless I…. Apologize in front of everyone in said group chat..
I then contacted HR and threatened to go to the IRS, and HR was able to get me my W2.
