My spouse suffers from severe depression and ptsd. Sunday she had a traumatic episode. I told my boss I was going to stay with my spouse because she was suicidal. I don’t think my boss even believes me because people quit on him and he thought I did too but I told him I didn’t.
So if I found a local hospital, used their address/phone number/ and log. Then wrote my spouse was admitted, and that I couldn’t return to work until Monday, would I get in any trouble for using the hospital’s logo on a paper or fake dr name?
I highly doubt they check in due to it being my spouse, and mental hospital, they couldn’t confirm or deny her being there. I just don’t want criminal charges.
I don’t want to be fired for missing work due to my spouse’s mental health.
