Hi, mandatory not from US and warning that english is not my mother language.

in july 2022 i started working on a project as a temporary government employee, this project heappens in my country every 10 years, normally the job would be done in 4 or 5 months, but we haven't finished the job yet, even after 7 months from the moment that i started working and 8 months that the project started.

I was hired to manage a team, I was given zones that my team would go around door to door doing their work, my role is to help them with any queries, be their tech support and check their work after they're done, well, we suffered with the lack of personnel and setbacks from the beginning, and the great political-government hostility that grew in my country and the organization did not help, from the very beginning we would come to the base in the morning, there would be a new guideline, by lunchtime they would have changed the new guideline, and at the end of the work they would change the guideline into its final form, almost all decisions were like that.

But since November 2022, with the workload decreasing, my team has gone from 8 to 3 people (actually 2 because we are thinking of firing “karen” for being incompetent), so to cut things short, since November my manager duties has been for almost non-existent, so my boss gave a list of zones for me to go there and talk to the owners and check the last guy's work, but the thing is I can do it in 1 day, so let's say monday I wake up, go to base, talk to my boss, turn in last week's work and get this week's list, Tuesday I can go to all the places that are on the list and finish the proof checking and I'm free for the rest of the week , the list should have lasted a week of work, but after months of doing this work, I learned how to do this work efficiently.

so thats it, for the last 3 months i've been working 1 and a half day (half because i go monday talk to my boss), and will keep until we finish the work.

thanks for reading.
