Antiwork

My wife has a chronic health condition and had to take FMLA leave. She worked with her PCP to outline reasonable accommodations, and her work is denying them after going back and forth about it for months. Do we have any options?

For reference, my wife has worked at this company for a few years now. She has a chronic illness that has worsened in the past year or so (I won’t go into details about it), but it makes it extremely difficult to sit at a desk and work for extended periods of time. My wife and her primary care provider outlined that she should be moved to part time to accommodate this. Her work is now denying the accommodations outright. They’ve basically jerked us back and forth for months now nitpicking at different things on the FMLA paperwork to the point where both us and her doctor don’t even know what additional information they need. Has anyone been in this situation before? Is there anything else we can even do aside from her just quitting?
