Antiwork

My wife is being told she must use her earned PTO, paid sick time or lose pay because of known issues accessing her systems.

This is now her second day being unable to log in to work and is being told they will only cover 2 hours. She has no options to go on site because they are now closed on weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays. There is a line for her to contact if there are issues and for both days there has been an automated message. The message indicates that there is a known issue that is impacting many of the employees. I've told her many times to not accept these terms because it's outside of her ability to fix. She's getting stressed because the PTO time she has banked is set aside for our youngest daughter's dance recital next month. I'd like to say this isn't about the money but we aren't financially in a position to take the list income. At this point I'm pretty upset they can't…

I've told her many times to not accept these terms because it's outside of her ability to fix. She's getting stressed because the PTO time she has banked is set aside for our youngest daughter's dance recital next month. I'd like to say this isn't about the money but we aren't financially in a position to take the list income.

At this point I'm pretty upset they can't take responsibility for their own issues and have to place that blame on the employee. Losing earned PTO or flat out losing a day of pay may not be much but she doesn't deserve either given the circumstances.

Edit: This is in Kansas
