Antiwork

My work experiences have been so irrational in the US, I have almost hadn’t had a choice but be anti-work.

Examples of the mismanagement, abandonment and neglect I have experienced include: Being hired for an administrative job where I was told to do the job of two people (which was nearly impossible given the software and processes they were using). That’s why they needed a Virtual Assistant. Being hired for a teacher’s assistant job where the skills and needs of the children were too varying. Some of them needed to be moved up to a different classroom. Being hired or an after school staff position where there were barely any plans or programs in place by management. They didn’t really oversee any of the processes and the classes were over crowded. Being hired for a Project Administrator position where the business hadn’t had any middle management for years. Upper management hardly knew how the software worked and the staff was hostile.
