I had two family members who were part of a union, one for a school district, and another for UPS. They would regularly complain that they were constantly losing money without benefiting from the union. After hearing stories like this and always being told to report union talk at work, I've had a negative view of unions. Now, after reading quite a lot of posts on this sub, I notice a lot of love for them. If anyone can explain why they are currently beneficial and why it's so talked down.
