Hello y’all. So I graduated over Covid with a BA in History (don’t ask me why) and went straight to the only job I could get, Substitute teacher. I quickly realized I’m too young and not being paid enough to take this job seriously. Anyway, I applied for a gig at a 3rd party company (Wipro lmtd.) to do triage (QA testing) for Meta. Long story short, the third party Company (based in India) never managed to send me a work laptop and I was never properly trained. However I’ve been using this job exp. As a way to get my foot in the door for interviews but I can’t actually talk about any real life exp. I need help knowing basics job tasks, how to answer interview questions that relate QA tasks to skills, or a day in the life of a QA. I’m thinking I can be sort of vague I just need enough buzzwords to seem like i am competent.
