This is what happened he was clocked out for the day and was picking up groceries before he came home (he works at a popular retail store) his manager came up when he was checking out and was mad and yelling about trash that his team supposedly left in the back he followed my brother outside too his car and screaming the whole way he decided too push my brother in the road he just put his hands up and tried too talk too him all this is on video and my brother has it that day he went and file an assault charge with the video as evidence though never went through with it fully because he also called his ethics dept and the manager who pushed him was fired so my brother felt as that was enough no need too pursue anything further but now his workplace has put him on suspension for a week without pay because he has the video and is “going too slander them” even though he hasn’t done anything other than show the video too police and his Human Resources and they’ve allowed him too have videos of things in the past such as the video of a pallet breaking and almost falling on someone and they didn’t care he had a video then they’re mad he went too ethics and he’s worried he will lose his job he’s been pretty upset over it does this count as retaliation? Is there anything we can do about it ? We live in Tennessee
