need some advice from someone smarter than me

Here's the situation: I work for a pest control company. The pest control company doesn't provide company phones. They compensate by paying $20 a month for us to use our personal phones to do our jobs. The company just started a new policy on January 1st that says we have to call every single customer on our way to their house, call when we get there so the customer knows to open their door, if the don't answer we then have to text the customer. Then we do the job, take 3 photos to show we did the job and text them to the customer, and call when we leave to let them know the job is done. Sounds ridiculous, right? Well. None of us actually do that because we don't want to have hundreds of photos a month taking up space on our phones, and we don't want the…

Well. None of us actually do that because we don't want to have hundreds of photos a month taking up space on our phones, and we don't want the hundreds of people on our route every month having our personal numbers.

Our manager knows we aren't doing it and is demanding that a couple of us (we are picked randomly) to show him our personal phones and text messages during the meetings. I don't want this dude scrolling through my texts and pictures, or my call records.

I am in the U.S. Is there any law that says they can't legally do that? Or anything I can say to prevent this from happening? I tried searching on Google, but I don't know if I'm asking the right question and I can't get the info I am looking for. I thought about taking 300 d-pics so that's what he sees when he asks to see my phone. Quitting isn't really an option right now since it's the slow season, I won't be able to find work, and this company pays me about $15 more per hour than what the average technician makes, so it'll be a substantial pay cut to leave.

Help!!!
