Need Some Advice On BS Scheduling

Hey there. So I need some advice. I work as a bike mechanic at REI. I started at a new store about 4 months ago and so far things have been great. I've had a pretty consistent schedule, only some minor retail irritations here and there. But last week, without telling anyone, they switched who's writing the schedule. I really don't want to start that cycle again. It's demoralizing and exhausting. I just want some basic work life balance. Does anyone have any advice on how to talk to the scheduling manager about this? I don't want to start some sort of weird pissing match with this guy but I'm not willing to put up with this again. To be clear, all I'm after is two days off in a row and a consistent schedule
