So my nephew is going to be inheriting a bunch of rental properties from his dad (not related to me) 20+ properties.
He doesn’t want to be a landlord and isn’t interested in the “family business”. He knows he has great privilege, and doesn’t know what he should do.
What would you do if you were in his situation?
Edit: I should clarify. In terms of financial advice for the transition and inheritance he knows what to do and his dad is still alive it’s part of the ongoing estate planning. His issue is the morality of extracting wealth from people and providing little value.
His career is in education.
