Lies all lies.
I've done the parades and tables at festivals. I've dressed up during holidays so they can get pictures on their social media page. I've worn the company's logo. And what do I get? Another empty promise.
So my advice to others is: don't volunteer. You got a life outside of work. Even if it's video games, sleeping, or whatever. It never helps you unless you're in that inner circle of favorites, brown nosing all the way up to their throats. Sorry but I ain't smelling what shit they offer.
