I never had the desire to be a manager. It just seems like additional stress that I’m not willing to put myself through, but I know that it comes with valuable skills and experience. There are people who have been managers at even as young as 18, I think because I just turned 30 that it kinda makes me feel like I’m missing out on an experience.
I’d like to add that while I have no desire to be a manager at someone else’s corporation, I’m okay with taking that responsibility for my own company (in the works).
I was thinking about taking a project management course.
Tell me, is this an experience that I am missing out on? Are there people older than me that have never been a “manager.” Is there a way to make more money without being a “manager?”
