New job advertised WFH but so far I’m still in office

I’m so frustrated I’m honestly trying to decide if this job is worth it. I got a new job in a medical call center with the agreement being WFH after on-site training of 4-6 weeks. The office is 45+ minutes away from my home but I decided to take it as it was a (small) raise and temporary commute until I could work from home. It’s been 8 weeks and they keep delaying letting me work from home. First it was that I needed to do some specialized training because there were system updates so that added a week then they delayed it due to “late starts”. It’s been 8 weeks and they keep delaying letting me work from home. First it was that I needed to do some specialized training because there were system updates so that added a week then they delayed it due to “late starts”. The company policy is that there is a 7 minute grace period before and after your start time. And with driving from so far away traffic would sometimes result in me being 1-3 minutes late so within the grace period but apparently the department policy is that u have to be there and actively work at exactly 8:00AM so my punishment is I have to keep coming into on site until my attendance improves. The building use to be a full call center but from what my trainer has told me that COVID they converted to WFH so only people in the training period are in the 3 story building so in total there is maybe 8-12 people on site on a given day but they are still enforcing an archaic formal dress code which is ridiculous for a call center in general but especially for a office with hardly any people in it.
I know it’s all temporary so I should wait it out but the stress of the commute and stupid rules is getting to me and I want to just find something else.
