New Job Brushed Off Concern

Hi, I’m looking for advice on how to proceed with this. I accepted a new job and at orientation we were required to download three apps onto our personal cellphones. I immediately felt like something was off since they mentioned nothing of providing work phones or compensating employees for data usage. I asked what their compensation plan was for using our personal cellphones and the presenter brushed off my questions. Two of these apps have geolocating and all aspects of the job are tracked through these apps (time cards, checklists, task summaries, incident reports, etc). It’s very obvious that a cellphone is a requirement for the work. I’m not comfortable downloading geolocating on my phone (especially if I’m expected to do it for free) and letting them track me wherever I go. How do I get that point across?
