new level of low

context: I work at a call center taking calls and providing customer service for a US bank. I have been warned several times verbally because I do not sit at my desk 8 hours in a row and answer like 30 to 40 calls a day (its exhausting) i like to chat with my coworkers and make it fun for myself and everybody around me, finally when they have changed me from spot to spot around the office i am now sitting next to my boss. You can imagine how boring my desk job is now.

Well, today my boss tells me after lunch I have a meeting. I come after my lunch break and there is no link or place for the meeting, a guy from IT services (Information and Technology) comes to my desk with a laptop, he is in a zoom meeting with someone else and goes to my desk tries to open Facebook Instagram and more social media web pages, shows the other person in the zoom meeting the access is locked by the company and has me hold the laptop in front of my computer 20 minutes while he is doing that. No, no share screen in the meeting, just me pointing the laptop camera to my computer.

Amused, I ask: Am i doing a good job?, and the guy goes… hold the laptop higher.
