Say you worked for a company and they sold their business and the new owners are saying people need to open their availability. Can they make them do that and does it differ for salary vs hourly employees? Everyone has to sign new contracts with the company in this scenerio if that helps. Hoping for more Canadian based law advice for this.
I'm on salary and worked 9-5 the last 7 years (I'm almost 30 now) and they want me closing friday-sunday 3-11:30 which there is no chance I'm gonna do. If I wanted to work nights I'd go back to working in a bar.
