My place of work, a family owned business, has instituted new uniform policy banning lots of things that employees have purchased (from the business) to wear. Lots of people are frustrated about it. The GM is also out of town while here changes are being implemented. In some instances this policy may also ban religious garments. We have some pro union people but there are no local unions for this field (restaurant). Despite backlash the GM has just made the rules even stricter today via text. I’ve worked here for 4 years and have very deep roots with employees and managers. What would you do?
