Im curious as to your area, hourly income vs how much these items cost in your local grocery store.
Milk $1.32 per gallon – 1.4 gallons per hour worked before sales and income tax
Eggs $0.6 per dozen -3 dozen per hour worked before sales and income tax
Bacon $0.85-0.95 per lb – 2 lbs per hour worked before income and sales tax
Banana $0.12 per lb – 15.4 lbs per hour worked before income and sales tax
Please leave out taxes.
Also please don't pick the cheapest or most expensive items of this variety.
It is suprisingly hard to get comparisons on region that aren't already analyzed and generalized.

My goal is to get an actual analasys from people, not from a privately funded research facility.
