Nightmare staff lift…

I work in a 5 star hotel and we have 1 nightmare staff lift that everyone has to share. Let me list the lifts “quirks” that nobody has bothered to fix and that we have to work around. – it looks like a death trap – level 3 button does not work – doors must be fully shut before pressing any button for lift to work – to go up to a certain level: press 4 and then quickly press the levels number you wish to go to (e.g. press 4 then 2 to go to level 2) – if you find you are outside the lift and you call it and it doesn't come. The lift is stuck on ground level and needs to be reset (this happens frequently). Walk down to ground level. Hold down stop button for 5 seconds to reset otherwise the lift will not move.…

I work in a 5 star hotel and we have 1 nightmare staff lift that everyone has to share. Let me list the lifts “quirks” that nobody has bothered to fix and that we have to work around.
– it looks like a death trap
– level 3 button does not work
– doors must be fully shut before pressing any button for lift to work
– to go up to a certain level: press 4 and then quickly press the levels number you wish to go to (e.g. press 4 then 2 to go to level 2)
– if you find you are outside the lift and you call it and it doesn't come. The lift is stuck on ground level and needs to be reset (this happens frequently). Walk down to ground level. Hold down stop button for 5 seconds to reset otherwise the lift will not move. (Is especially annoying if you have a trolley with you, then you have to go back up to get it)
– lift sometimes opens “between levels”
– the emergency phone has been pulled out and replaced with sanitizer

If we can give 5 star service to guests, why can't employees be given the same respect from our employers
