Long time lurker, just need to get this of my chest or i won't be able to sleep.
I work in the netherlands for a bank that has it's roots with farmers, but through an agency.
From the agency we can accept extra shifts, no problems here, everything in order. However, this massive bank, this unit of an organisation, forgot to plan this in their schedule. Not the first time this has happened.
So now, insteas of 3 hours, i work 6. This means that i get a break. However, my manager now told me, no you dont have this break, only after 6.25 hours. This is bs for several reasons: 1)the law says so and 2)my coworker do get breaks with 6 hour shifts.
Already looking for a new job, so thank god when i get to say goodbye
