No one wants to ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶ unionize anymore.

This is from a local gas station owned by a grocery chain. The grocery chain has closed several of the unionized grocery stores. I asked the cashier about the sign, and asked if they were unionized. The gas stations are not unionized. She assured me it was because “nobody wants to work”, and that “the pay is good”. I looked up this job online and the wages start at $7/hr. You have to supply personal information to get past that stage of guessing the actual salary. I looked into that on some wage comparison sites and it appears the job starts around $10/hr, and was rated 3 out of 5 stars for employee satisfaction (regarding wages) The Walmart across the street is hiring at $17.50 an hour. https://preview.redd.it/803pmtfkpf091.jpg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfee800b581f2531a986fe0b2f9381acec9f5e0a
