Looking for some guidance or insight.
I work at a manufacturing facility and manage a small team. it's come to my attention while auditing processes that we are missing a ton (majority) of your SDS.
A SDS includes information such as the properties of each chemical; the physical, health, and environmental hazards
Route cause is turnover in our safety department and covid related structure changes.
Brought it to the attention of the correct personal and although I consider this of the highesy priority as workers in multiple sites cannot access SDS it is taking a long time to get resolved.
My team handles materials and identifies materials on the dock and without proper safety documentation handling of materials cannot be done safely in my opinion. Our site isn't supposed to handle Hazardous materials but we also receive consignee material which may be hazardous.
I'm looking for a broad range of solutions from going about my day as normal to annoynomous tip to OSHA.
