Hi all, I’ve been with company X for about
2 & 1/2 years, and I’ve never had any issues at all. Always on time, not once have i ever called out, work and happy to work holidays. I love where i work and have not a single issue! M-F all weekends off.
Our time off policy says to give a 3 week notice, it was actually 2 weeks before being changed to 3.
I requested time off last week for a short trip in July, that’s exactly 7 days long and more than PLENTY of “3 wEeKs nOtiCe”
It was denied due to someone reserving those dates earlier in January.
How is this fair at all? I didn’t know what i was going to do or where i was planning to go in January lol, honestly baffled that this happened and its such a stupid thing.
I’m going to talk things out with the manager tomorrow and update you all, any tips/advice is very much appreciated.
Also, this is NON PTO. It’s a leave of absence request, and my first of the year.
I need a break too!
