Not Able To Go To The Emergency Room Right Now Without Getting Fired

Health background for context; skip if you want: I have a heart condition that I am barely being treated for/barely diagnosed. I also have POTS which affects my heart and blood pressure. I also might have an arrhythmia. I also take stimulants for my narcolepsy which is just all of it a bad combo. I took my heart meds like an hour ago and I am in a lot of chest pain. My blood pressure is a little high and my bpm is 80 which is actually super low for me. I have tested my blood sugar yet for my diabetes but I assume it’s low. I’m on my lunch break I can’t go to the emergency room or urgent care for an EKG because it would be considered an unexcused absence from my job and we can only have a 5% absence rate in a rolling 90 day period.…

I’m on my lunch break I can’t go to the emergency room or urgent care for an EKG because it would be considered an unexcused absence from my job and we can only have a 5% absence rate in a rolling 90 day period. I’m at like 4.5% right now because of some other health issues and my supervisor lying to me about being able to make up the hours. We have to get a week notice for excused or 48 hours for an emergency. Like wtf. I’ve already been written up once for my attendance and I technically have one more write up before final termination. My husband says I should wait until I get off.

So I gotta wait 4 more hours.
