Not allowed to ask for time off.

Hey all. Feeling stuck and annoyed at my current job. I went to school to be an aesthetician. Pay sucks, hours are horrible and now my boss does not want me asking for time off. I make minimum wage and tips. But the laws have changed where I live, so now my tips are taxed. She has not given me a raise since I started working there years ago.

I feel I deserve more than minimum wage at this point.

Today, she told me she no longer wants me requesting time off. The same thing happened a couple months ago. I asked to be leave a few hours early on a Saturday shift to make it to my boyfriends birthday bash. She was very annoyed with me and told me she does not want me asking for time off Thursdays through Saturdays.

When I asked about taking a Saturday off months in advance from now today, she yet again went off at me. This time she said I am not allowed to ask for time off 10 months out of the year. I may only ask in July or August. The other girls at work take 1 or 2 weeks off at a time multiple times a year and she has no problem with it. Yet when I ask for a weekend off I get shit on. We have to work every Saturday no questions asked and sometimes it is nice to take a weekend off as I work very hard. Am I in the wrong here?
