Not being paid what I was told

So I work at a fast food restaurant that I worked at in high school and now my second year of college. When I was hired I was told I would be paid $14.50 but wouldn’t have the responsibilities of a shift lead or manager, I would be a regular employee with basic responsibilities. Now they are telling me that I am a shift lead and in charge of closing the store by myself, and I looked at my pay stub and my hourly rate is only $14.00 an hour. Is this legal?
