I work in an office of females, all of which can be pretty emotional. I pride myself on being upfront and not crying at the drop of a hat. I think people should be held to certain standards if they want more responsibilities and pay. Because I can handle difficult conversations, whenever my boss gets stressed I get the brunt of it. Normally we get along great but when she’s stressed she doesn’t handle it well. So she says things to me that she wouldn’t say to the others because they would fall apart. It’s just unfair how I’m the punching bag because everybody else can’t have real conversations.
