Not even a pizza party

I’m a housekeeper at a small hospital. We’ve lost 5 employees in two months, including our director. None of which has been replaced and there’s no intention to do so. The workload, of course, hasn’t lessened. So as always, the remaining work force is pushed harder to make up for the lost labor. Shockingly, the money being saved in those reduced labor costs, have not been passed on to the remaining workers responsible for the extra work. We get treated like trash by the clinical staff. They recently bought the whole hospital Qdoba, called us and told us to come get some. When we arrived there were just two empty bags the man in charge that night said, “so and so-called your supervisor and he said he’d get you dinner another night.” Nobody expected that to happen, and it hasn’t lol. They treat us crazy in all kinds of other…

So that’s the context in which we received this email from our supervisor. My friend and I laughed our asses off.
