My boyfriend works at a restaurant where they’ve basically stopped scheduling him but haven’t officially fired him. He talked to the scheduler about it and they said if he wants hours he’ll have to pick up shifts other people have dropped. Can they do this, & is there anything he can do about it? We live in California.
