Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but I’m very angry and confused about what to do. My job considers full time 32 hours a week. However, I just took a look at our next few weeks for schedules and there is a week where I am only getting 18.5 hours! I have a baby and I can’t afford to feed us both on that or pay bills. I’ve been there longer than the majority of the staff, who are scheduled for that day! For that week I have the lowest amount of hours. I’m barely making ends meet with my 32-35 hours a week, is there anything I can do if this schedule isn’t changed?
Currently, all they tell me is to use my PTO time to make up the hours I’m missing but I don’t think that’s something they should be forcing me to do? I’m already in the negative as far as vacation time goes from my dad being in the ICU back in February and having my little one getting sick this past week.
