I just wanted to make a post here because it’s this group that gave me the confidence to call out some bullshit I encountered yesterday. I tend to be a shy person.
I’d been looking for a new job, and set up an interview through indeed. It was a phone interview. The time we had scheduled for came and went. After 15 minutes, I officially lost my patience. They had given me no way to contact them, and their phone line went straight to voicemail because the interview was scheduled for after normal office hours. I messaged them through indeed and still heard nothing. Finally, I gave up on them, called them unprofessional in a msg through indeed and reported them too for failing to show up for their interview.
If interviewers think workers are so desperate as to waste our time, they can think again. Hopefully they treat the next candidate better. Or hopefully not so they don’t get suckered into that job.
