I had a w2 job back in 2019, where I was working 80+ hours a week for a decent portion of the job. I recently learned that in Illinois you are required to pay time and a half if an employee works overtime here. I was only paid for my time during that role, so if I worked 60 hours a week, i got my rate for my extra 20 hours. am i entitled to time and a half? and if so, how do I follow up on this? This company is notorious for fucking it's workers over, so I don't want to be one of those people.
