I was hired for a job, but a key employee quit and I was forced to take over his role while my new role was shelved. Several months later the job just gets worse with no indication the company has intention of filling that role and letting me return to my original position.
The owner is a complete narcissistic control freak and has micromanaged my position, continuously pigeonholes me into doing more and more non value added tasks and foolish reports. He's also the first boss I've ever had who waves me off when I seek out to talk to him.
100% of my efforts are now into finding a new job. When I do I'm not planning on giving 2 weeks notice either!
