I work at a smoothie place (chain) in a smallish town and the VP of operations came by 5pm on Tuesday saying the store should be closed by Christmas. FOUR DAYS! I’m the manager and I said that was impossible at least till the end of the year so the official close is the 30th. How is this even fair? I’m really just wondering about unemployment possibly for my employees. I just feel terrible for them and that the owner thought all this was ok. And said “hope I didn’t ruin your holiday” bffr
