But come on. If somebody isn’t going to pay enough, don’t work there. You want a living wage, they want a profitable business. How well the business is doing has nothing to do with your pay. Your pay is dictated by how much value you have over the next guy off the bus
No, I’m not a business owner. But really, life is too short. To bitch about one business is ridiculous. How many of you guys have done anything to promote unions or raise the minimum wage? Call to your congressman? Reach out to possible unions? Form one yourself?
GenX here, I’ve worked jobs where I felt I was underpaid and I left them. I’ve had the biggest asshole bosses ever. But it’s their business.
