I still work intheis food service job as a legally blind person in a small community. I had to change my availability due to a variety of reasons, but the main one is that my husband doesn't feel like it's safe for a night blind person to work past midnight.
When I told my boss this, they wrote my availability form for me and made me sign it. They dropped my hours from 18-20ish per week to 4. They told me that they just don't have hours for me, but gave a recently promoted person 42 hours and wants to hire more.
I've already reported this company in the past, but it did nothing. I can't wait to find a different job.
The title is meant to be rhetorical. Lol
