one time my car broke

A few years back my car broke but I was still driving it. The wheel bearing was BAD and needed replaced ASAP but I drove it to the autoparts store to get a new bearing and then I drove it into work the next day. My workplace has all kinds of tools and a shop building with an air compressor, where I could park my car inside. I explained to my boss that my car was broken and he suggested I call out a mobile mechanic. I gave a few places a call and each quote I got was around $400 dollars. I finally told my boss I was going to clock out and try to fix it myself by following a YouTube video I found online. I clocked out and set to working on my car. Like 3 hours in he said why don't you just hire a mechanic…

I clocked out and set to working on my car. Like 3 hours in he said why don't you just hire a mechanic and I told him, because the company pays me $15 an hour and a mechanic is $70-90 an hour. Even if it takes me twice as long to do the job I'm still saving money. I ended up fixing my car for around $180.
