I found out today that wages have a large discrepancy between people at my work.
We just had three new hires, and two of them were willing to tell me what they were making. The first guy was offered $16 per hour, and he negotiated an extra $1. The second guy was offered $18 immediately, but he states the listing on the job site was $19.
I've been here over a year and a half, and I am getting $17.50. both of the new guys have zero experience, and I had several years of experience before coming into this job.
I already don't like this job, so I am taking back my old job elsewhere, even though it pays less.
Due to certain pieces of legislation, I am exempt from overtime at my current job, so working the same number of hours I will make the same amount anyway.
