A few months ago a coworker was diagnosed with breast cancer, a very treatable one, but one that needed to be treated quickly. She told work that she needed a few months off immediately for treatment, wasnt sure when she would be back but at least 3 months.
The owner said, no issue, please focus on your health and only come back when you are fully recovered. And dont worry about your income, we will pay your full salary.
She now back at work full recovered, and we all grateful the owner did something so thoughtful.
